What a prop firm is for traders in Ukraine, and what you are paying for

A prop firm, in the sense these 65 firms and arms use the word, sells you an evaluation on a simulated account. You trade to a profit target without breaking a daily or overall loss limit; pass, and you trade a funded account that is usually still simulated, and the firm pays you a share of the simulated profit, typically 80% to 90%. FTMO says its traders trade with simulated capital only but receive a reward in real money; Crypto Fund Trader calls itself a simulated trading evaluation firm. The fee is not a deposit and is not invested; it buys an attempt, and it is gone whether you pass or fail.

Evaluations come in three shapes here. Two-step plans need a profit target hit twice before funding; one-step plans need it once; futures plans run one evaluation with an end-of-day trailing floor. Funded7 and FTUK split the price, charging a small amount up front and the rest on passing. How we checked prop firms for traders in Ukraine

We applied two tests to every product, from each firm’s own restricted-countries page, terms, footer, help articles and checkout, never from marketing copy or another site’s list.

1. Living in Ukraine: no current firm page names Ukraine as a whole; any regions it names are quoted in its own words; and the firm names a payout route that neither it nor its processor excludes for Ukraine. A product passes only if all three hold.
2. Living abroad: every sentence the firm publishes about Ukraine tests residence or location, not citizenship, nationality or origin, and its identity check does not take your country from your ID document.
3. Not on a list is not accepted: a list worded “include” or “including” is open-ended, so a firm missing from it ranks with that caveat stated.
4. Rise is not a route for residents: Rise lists Ukraine among countries it does not serve, so a firm whose only route is Rise has no payout route for a resident.
5. Price: every $50K variant at list price plus any activation fee, divided by the smallest overall loss limit in dollars at any stage, times 1,000; codes go in the notes only.

Firms whose own pages disagree on Ukraine, whose region wording names no regions, or whose own domain or named group is on Ukraine’s NSSMC list sit in a serious-warning group for residents, shown with the same measure.
