TL;DR: Nordic Funder is a Swedish-branded forex, CFD, crypto and US-equities prop firm. Its assessments are provided by Forest Park FX LTD, part of the US and Cayman-based Prop Account group, and the firm is not regulated. On October 11, 2026 it sold nine tracks for a one-time, non-refundable fee: FX One-Step, Two-Step and Three-Step ($5K to $500K, from $42 to $4,887.50), One-Step Lite and Two-Step Lite, Crypto One-Step and Two-Step, Equities One-Step Daily (all $2.5K to $100K, from $25), and Instant Funding Lite with no assessment (from $45). The split is 80%, or 90% with a paid add-on. The first payout has no waiting period, and later payouts run every 14 days. Platforms are DXtrade, Match-Trader and cTrader, but the checkout offers only PropX on the Lite, crypto and equities tracks. Nordic Funder publishes no restricted-country list. Its Trustpilot page shows 3.2 from 56 reviews, not the 4.3 the website claims. The site relaunched in October 2026, and its own terms page is marked as awaiting legal sign-off, so check the rules before you pay.
Research status: Checked October 11, 2026 against the Nordic Funder home page, program pages for FX and CFDs, crypto, equities and instant funding, the How it works, Payouts, FAQ, About, Support, Terms and Risk disclosure pages, four firm blog guides, the live checkout at portal.nordicfunder.com, and the Prop Account group client terms on dashboardanalytix.com that Nordic Funder links as its full terms. History comes from archived copies of nordicfunder.com dated January 14, 2025 and April 22, 2026. Prices were read from the firm’s public pages and checkout on that date and were not verified by purchase. Reviews were read on Trustpilot, Reddit and PropFirmMatch on the same date.
Nordic Funder review verdict
Nordic Funder has one of the widest menus of any CFD prop firm. You can choose five FX tracks, two crypto tracks, a US-equities track and an instant account, and each one has its own drawdown model, daily-loss basis and consistency rule. Every fee is paid once, with no subscription. There is no time limit on any assessment, your own EAs are allowed on every account, and the first payout has no waiting period. The cheapest way in is $25 for a $2,500 Lite, crypto or equities account. Per dollar of account size, the cheapest is the FX Three-Step ($367.50 for $100,000).
Some things weigh against it. The firm is not regulated, and the company behind the assessments is not Swedish: the fees go to Forest Park FX LTD, part of a group with addresses in Florida and the Cayman Islands. The website relaunched in October 2026. On the day we checked, its own terms page said it was “awaiting counsel sign-off”, the support page still referred to a developer README, and the website and checkout disagreed on platforms and add-on prices. Payout methods and restricted countries are not published at all. The public review record is small and old: 56 Trustpilot reviews, only 2 of them from the last 12 months, and a cluster of 2024 complaints from former Tradiac customers.
BestProps does not give Nordic Funder a numeric score. If you buy, pick the track by its daily-loss basis rather than its price. The three staged FX tracks measure daily loss on the previous end-of-day balance. Every other track uses an intraday trailing limit, which is much easier to breach. Read the Prop Account group client terms too, because some of their rules are not repeated on nordicfunder.com, including a 3-minute news window and a $1 million limit per person.
Is Nordic Funder legit? Company, counterparty and track record
Nordic Funder is a real, operating brand with a working checkout, published prices and rules, and a record of paid traders going back to at least 2024. “Legit” here means it sells what it describes. It does not mean the firm is regulated or that every payout request will be approved. Those depend on the terms below, and some of them leave a lot to the firm’s discretion.
| Fact | What is published | Where it is stated |
|---|---|---|
| Brand | “Scandinavia’s funded trader programme”. Trustpilot’s company details give Torshamnsgatan 27, 164 40 Kista, Sweden, phone +46 8 446 85920 and hey@nordicfunder.com | Home page, Trustpilot company details |
| Who runs the assessments | “All funding assessments are provided by Forest Park FX LTD and all assessment fees are paid to Forest Park FX LTD.” If you qualify, you sign a Trader Agreement with Forest Park FX LTD. Nordic Funder says it designs the programs, sets the rules and runs support | About, Terms clause 1 |
| Second entity named | A second footer notice on the same pages says the assessments are provided by Prop Account, LLC and the Trader Agreement is with Prop Account LC | Site footer |
| Group behind the terms | The full client terms define the company as the Prop Account Group: Prop Account (doing business as Dashboard Analytix), Forest Park FX LTD, Prop Account LLC and Prop Account Cayman, LC. Notice addresses: Prop Account LLC, 951 Yamato Rd, Suite 270, Boca Raton, FL 33431, and Prop Account LC, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman. Last updated September 2026 | Client Terms and Policies |
| Regulation | Not regulated. The risk disclosure says you are buying “a fee-based simulated trading assessment”, not a financial product, investment or employment | Risk disclosure |
| Account model | Assessments are simulated against aggregated live pricing. The client terms say traders who pass “shall be allocated capital to trade in a live account under the terms of the Trader Agreement” | About, Client terms (Education section) |
| Liquidity | Pricing is aggregated from several brokers and liquidity providers. The firm says it does not widen spreads or add markups. Equities pricing comes from Nasdaq | FAQ, Equities |
| Founding and leadership | Not published by the firm. PropFirmMatch lists November 2021 and CEO David Nudleman. The firm’s archived rules guide carries a June 2022 publication date | PropFirmMatch, archived rules guide |
| Support | Email support, the trader portal and a Discord server. The support page said on October 11, 2026: “Support routing is configured at deploy — see the README. Until then, the Discord and portal links below are live.” | Support |
| Pass or payout statistics | None published. The risk disclosure says only that “a substantial proportion of participants breach a limit before reaching the profit target” | Risk disclosure |
The practical points: you pay Forest Park FX LTD, not a Swedish company. Disputes run under group terms that let the company “apply, modify, impose, or remove risk controls on any Account at any time”. No Scandinavian regulator supervises the product. The terms page on nordicfunder.com is short and labelled as unfinished, so the controlling document is the longer client terms on dashboardanalytix.com. Read both.
Nordic Funder programs: the nine tracks compared
Every track has a one-time fee, no time limit, an 80% split (90% with the add-on), raw spreads and EAs allowed. Rules are the same at every account size within a track; only the fee changes.

Source: the comparison tables on the programs page and each program page, read October 11, 2026. The checkout uses different names for the staged FX tracks (“One-stage”, “Two-stage”, “Three Step Assessment”). It also sells a “One-stage PRO” account ($25K to $400K) that the website does not describe. We found no published rules for it.
How to read the menu: the three staged FX tracks give you the most room per day, because their daily limit does not move during the session. The Lite, crypto and equities tracks are cheaper and have more leverage, but they add a consistency rule, a minimum of three profitable days and an intraday trailing daily limit. Equities and Instant Funding Lite have the tightest risk limits on the site: 3% maximum drawdown, with daily limits of 1.5% and 1%.

Prices as read from the Nordic Funder program pages on October 11, 2026, before add-ons; not verified by purchase. We checked the staged FX prices at $5K, $100K and $500K against the live checkout and they matched. The checkout also showed $25 for a $2,500 One-Step Lite and $1,000 for a $100,000 One-stage PRO.
Cost per $1,000 of account size, from the firm’s own tables: Three-Step is the cheapest at $3.43 to $8.40, followed by Two-Step ($4.90 to $12) and One-Step ($8.50, rising to $9.78 at $500K). The Lite, crypto and equities tracks cost $6 to $10. Instant Funding Lite costs $10 to $18, because it skips the assessment. A low fee per dollar does not make a track easier to pass. Three-Step is cheapest because it asks for three phases inside a 5% static drawdown.
Checkout add-ons and what they cost
Add-ons are bought with the account and priced as a percentage of the fee. The terms say they are part of the same non-refundable purchase. The options differ by track. This is what the checkout showed on October 11, 2026:
| Add-on | Staged FX (One-, Two-, Three-step) | One-stage PRO | FX Lite and Instant Funding Lite | Crypto | Equities |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 90% profit share | +20% (labelled “Profit Share”) | +33% (labelled “Profit Share”) | +15% | +15% | +15% |
| 65% profit share (lower split, cheaper fee) | Not offered | Not offered | -15% | -15% | -15% |
| Hold over the weekend | +10% | +10% | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed |
| “Payout Protector” | +25% | +25% | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed |
| Double leverage | Not listed | Not listed | +25% | +25% | +20% |
| Adjusted consistency | Not listed | Not listed | Funded: +25% | Funded: +45% | Evaluation: +25% |
| Max drawdown +1% / -1% / -2% | Not listed | Not listed | +25% / -10% / -15% | +25% / -10% / not offered | +35% / -25% / not offered |
| Profit target -2% / -1% / +1% / +2% | Not listed | Not listed | +35% / +15% / -5% / -10% | +35% / +15% / -5% / -10% | +35% / +15% / -5% / -10% |
The website does not explain “Payout Protector” or what “Adjusted Consistency” changes the percentage to. The website and the firm’s payouts guide say the 90% add-on costs +15% “of the account fee”, but the checkout charged +20% on the staged FX tracks. The firm does not say whether several add-ons add up on the base fee or compound. Read the final price on the order form before you pay.
Nordic Funder rules: drawdown, daily loss, consistency and inactivity
Maximum drawdown: one trailing track, eight static
Only the FX One-Step uses a trailing maximum drawdown. Its 6% is measured from the highest equity the account has reached, so the floor rises with every new peak. All other tracks use a static drawdown, measured from the starting balance, that never moves. The firm’s own drawdown guide gives this ladder for a $100,000 One-Step:
| Equity peak | One-Step floor (6% trailing) | Two-Step floor (8% static) | Three-Step floor (5% static) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100,000 | $94,000 | $92,000 | $95,000 |
| $102,000 | $95,880 | $92,000 | $95,000 |
| $104,000 | $97,760 | $92,000 | $95,000 |
| $106,000 | $99,640 | $92,000 | $95,000 |
| $110,000 | $103,400 | $92,000 | $95,000 |
Above a peak of about $106,383, the One-Step floor sits above your starting balance, so falling back to breakeven fails the account. The firm’s guide says the trailing floor overtakes the Three-Step’s 5% static floor once your peak passes about $101,064. PropFirmMatch says the One-Step trailing drawdown locks at the starting balance after a withdrawal or once the profit equals the drawdown. Nordic Funder’s own pages do not mention a lock, so confirm on your dashboard.
Daily loss: end-of-day balance versus intraday trailing
- Staged FX (One-Step 5%, Two-Step 4%, Three-Step 5%): measured from the previous end-of-day balance and fixed for the whole session. If a $100,000 One-Step opens the day at $100,000, the daily floor is $95,000 all day, even if you run up to $104,000 and give it back.
- Everything else (2.5%, 3%, 1.5% or 1%): intraday trailing, so the reference moves up with the highest equity you reach that session. The firm’s example: a $100,000 One-Step Lite that runs from $100,000 to $104,000 has a daily floor of $101,400, so a $2,600 pullback ends the account.
The website does not give the reset time for the daily limit. The archived 2025 rules used 17:00 EST, but that predates the current product.
Consistency and minimum trading days
A consistency rule caps how much of your total profit can come from your best single day. Nordic Funder publishes it per track: none on the staged FX tracks; none during evaluation and 50% funded on the FX Lite tracks; 25% funded on crypto; 40% in evaluation and 20% funded on equities; 20% on Instant Funding Lite. The Lite, crypto and equities tracks also require three profitable days of at least 1% each, before passing and before payouts. The terms say any published consistency or minimum-day rule “must also be satisfied before a funded account or a payout is granted”.
Inactivity and time limits
No assessment has a deadline. The only clock is inactivity: 30 days on the staged FX tracks and 14 days on crypto, equities and Instant Funding Lite. The comparison table shows no inactivity limit for the FX Lite tracks, but the firm’s EA guide lists 30 days for them. Assume 30 days.
Trading hours
Equities trade 09:30 to 15:55 ET, and positions are flattened before the closing auction. Only cryptocurrencies trade at weekends.
Trading rules: news, weekends, EAs, copy trading and account limits
| Topic | Rule as published |
|---|---|
| News trading | nordicfunder.com does not mention a news rule. The client terms (updated September 2026) say: “Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited.” The penalty can be removal of that trade’s profit, lower leverage or a breach. The company alone decides what counts as a news event. Positions opened earlier may stay open. |
| Weekend holding | Positions must be closed before the weekend unless you buy the weekend add-on. The checkout lists that add-on only on the staged FX tracks and One-stage PRO (+10%), while the crypto page says crypto weekend holding needs it too. The add-on lets a position sit through the gap; FX still does not trade on Saturday. |
| Stop loss | Not required, but the firm recommends one. |
| EAs and algos | “Your own EAs and algorithms are allowed on every account, with no approval step and no surcharge.” The client terms also ban “any third-party strategy, off-the-shelf strategy or one marketed to pass challenge accounts”, and EAs used for copy trading. |
| Copy trading | Allowed only between accounts you own. Group trading, signal services, passing services and mirroring other traders are prohibited. |
| Hedging | Hedging inside one account is allowed. Opposite positions across accounts, or across prop firms, are prohibited. |
| Prohibited practices | Latency arbitrage, trading on stale prices, tick scalping on feed lag, insider information, front-running, and using one strategy to pass and a different one when funded. |
| Gambling / all-in | Risking all or most of your margin on one trade or a run of same-direction trades can close the account. The terms do not give a percentage. |
| Account limits | The FAQ says each size and track is its own product and you can run several at once. The client terms limit you to “one active account per assessment level” and a maximum of $1 million in active evaluation or funded accounts per person. |
| Risk controls | The company may change leverage, margin, position limits, drawdown parameters or product availability on any account at any time, without notice. |
Nordic Funder payouts
| Payout term | What Nordic Funder publishes |
|---|---|
| Profit split | 80% on every track, or 90% with the profit-share add-on. Lite, crypto and equities checkouts also sell a 65% split for 15% off the fee. |
| First payout | “No delay — request as soon as you qualify.” On Lite, crypto and equities you qualify after the three profitable days of 1%. |
| Later payouts | Every 14 days, on a rolling cycle that starts from your first withdrawal rather than a calendar date. |
| Minimum payout | 1% of the account on Instant Funding Lite. Not published for other tracks. |
| Withdraw buffer | 1.5% above the starting balance on Instant Funding Lite. Not published for other tracks. |
| Maximum payout | No cap published. |
| Payout on breach | No. A breach forfeits unwithdrawn profit. The payouts guide applies this to the equities and instant tracks. The terms say breached-account withdrawals, where permitted, must be requested within 60 days. |
| Lock on payout | Yes. The account is locked while a request is processed (stated for Instant Funding Lite and equities). |
| KYC | Required. If you fail it, “any withdrawals will be rejected, your gains forfeited, and your account closed”. |
| Payout methods | Not published on nordicfunder.com. PropFirmMatch lists crypto and Rise (riseworks) for payouts. The terms let the company reject payouts to a “shared wallet” address. |
| Payout as credit | You may choose to take a payout as credit toward future accounts. The choice cannot be reversed, and the credit expires after one year. |
| Processing time | Not published. |
How to request a payout
- Meet your track’s conditions: three profitable days of 1% (Lite, crypto, equities), its funded consistency rule, and on Instant Funding Lite the 1.5% buffer and 1% minimum.
- Close what you cannot leave unattended and stop any EA, because the account is locked while the request is processed.
- Submit the request in the trader portal at portal.nordicfunder.com and complete KYC if you have not already.
- Your next request opens 14 days after the first.
Payout proof
Nordic Funder’s current site shows no payout totals, certificates or a payout-proof page. An archived January 2025 page, “Funding and payout proof”, listed funded traders by first name and country and said “All payments are made from reputable Swedish and Swiss banks”. That describes the older product. The visible evidence today is a few 2024 Trustpilot reviews from traders who say they were paid (see below). There is no audited payout or denial rate.
Worked examples: cost, drawdown, consistency and payouts
1. What a $100,000 account costs on each track
| Track | Base fee | With 90% split add-on | Funded profit at which the add-on pays for itself |
|---|---|---|---|
| FX One-Step | $850 | $1,020 (+20% at checkout) | $1,700 |
| FX Two-Step | $525 | $630 (+20%) | $1,050 |
| FX Three-Step | $367.50 | $441 (+20%) | $735 |
| One-Step Lite / Crypto One-Step / Equities | $750 | $862.50 (+15%) | $1,125 |
| Two-Step Lite / Crypto Two-Step | $600 | $690 (+15%) | $900 |
| Instant Funding Lite | $1,000 | $1,150 (+15%) | $1,500 |
The break-even works like this. The extra 10 points of split are worth 0.10 times your funded profit. At +15%, the add-on costs 0.15 times the fee, so it pays for itself at 1.5 times the fee. At the +20% we saw on staged FX, it pays for itself at 2 times the fee. If you expect only one small payout, skip it.
2. Passing a $100,000 One-Step without the floor catching you
The target is $110,000. Say you reach $106,000 and then lose $4,000. Your floor is now $99,640, so you are still alive at $102,000 with $2,360 of room. On a Two-Step at the same balance, the floor is still $92,000 and you would have $10,000 of room. On any day, the binding limit is whichever floor is higher. If you open at $102,000, the daily floor is $96,900, which is below the trailing $99,640, so the trailing drawdown is the rule that stops you.
3. The equities track: a 10% target inside a 3% drawdown ($10,000)
The fee is $80 and the target is $1,000. The static floor is $9,700, and the 1.5% daily limit trails from each day’s high, so it is about $150 of room on a $10,000 account. You need at least three days of $100 or more profit (1%). The 40% evaluation consistency rule means your best day can be at most $400 if you pass exactly at $1,000. If you make $600 in one day, you need $1,500 of total profit before that day falls to 40%. Once funded, the rule tightens to 20%. With a $300 best day, you need $1,500 of total profit before you can be paid.
4. Instant Funding Lite payout ($100,000)
The fee is $1,000. The floor is $97,000 static, and the daily limit is 1% ($1,000) trailing from each session’s high. Before any withdrawal, your balance must be above $101,500 (the 1.5% buffer), and the smallest request is $1,000 (1%). Funded consistency is 20%, so with an $800 best day you need $4,000 of total profit. At $104,000, an 80% split on a $3,000 request pays $2,400. The firm does not say whether the 1.5% buffer must stay in the account after a request. PropFirmMatch says the drawdown locks at the starting balance once you are paid. Ask before you withdraw everything.
5. Lite minimum days ($25,000 One-Step Lite)
The target is $2,500. Each of your three qualifying days needs at least $250 of profit. Nothing applies during the evaluation, but once you are funded your best day may be at most half of your total profit. So a $1,000 day needs at least $2,000 of total profit before a payout.
6. Commission on FX
Commission is $7 per lot round turn on FX and metals and $0 on indices, oil and crypto. Five round-turn lots a day over 20 trading days costs $700 a month. That is 14% of the $5,000 target on a $50,000 One-Step. The same activity on indices costs only the spread.
7. A funded payout on a staged account
Your $100,000 Two-Step is funded and you have $8,000 of closed profit. At 80% you are paid $6,400. With the 90% add-on (bought for $105 extra at checkout) you are paid $7,200. Your next request opens 14 days later. The staged FX tracks publish no consistency rule and no minimum days, so neither stands in the way.
Nordic Funder platforms, leverage and commissions
| Platform | Where it is offered |
|---|---|
| cTrader | Website FAQ; checkout for staged FX tracks |
| DXtrade | Website FAQ; checkout for staged FX tracks |
| Match-Trader (“MTR” at checkout) | Website FAQ; checkout for staged FX tracks |
| PropX | Checkout only. It is the only platform shown for One-Step Lite, Two-Step Lite, Instant Funding Lite, crypto, equities and One-stage PRO, and it is not mentioned on the website |
The website says all platforms are “integrated via GooeyTrade” and that you choose at checkout. MetaTrader 4 and 5 and TradeLocker are not offered. Older third-party reviews that mention MetaTrader 4 describe an earlier version of the offer.
Leverage
| Track | Standard | With Double Leverage add-on |
|---|---|---|
| FX One-, Two- and Three-Step | 20:1 forex and metals, 10:1 indices, 5:1 oil, up to 2:1 crypto | Add-on not offered |
| One-Step Lite | 30:1 | 60:1 |
| Two-Step Lite | 100:1 | 200:1 |
| Instant Funding Lite | 30:1 | 60:1 |
| Crypto and equities | 2:1 | 4:1 |
For scale, 30:1 on a $10,000 One-Step Lite allows up to $300,000 of exposure, and 100:1 on a $10,000 Two-Step Lite allows $1,000,000. If your EA sizes from available margin, the same code takes several times more risk on a Lite track than on a staged one.
Instruments and costs
FX pairs, metals, indices, oil and crypto as CFDs, plus US equities on the equities track. Spreads are raw. Commission is $7 per lot round turn on FX and metals and $0 on indices, oil and crypto. The equities track lists raw spreads and no commission line. Positions held overnight may be charged swap, according to the client terms. The firm publishes no full symbol list.
Nordic Funder restricted countries
Nordic Funder does not publish a restricted-country list. We found none on nordicfunder.com, in its terms or FAQ, or in the Prop Account group client terms. The old /restricted-countries/ address now returns a 404 error, and the checkout’s country field did not load a readable list without starting an order. The client terms say only that the company may “limit access to the Site to any person, geographic regi
