E8 Futures Payout Rules: Caps, Buffer, Speed and Payout Proof
E8 Futures, the futures side of E8 Markets, sells two one-step programs on Tradovate: E8 Signature and E8 Zero (Starter and Max). They pay out under very different rules. This page sets out when each account can request a payout, the $100 minimum, the 35% best-day rule and five profitable days on Signature, the payout buffer and per-request caps, the four-payout limit per account, how a payout moves the drawdown, processing times and methods, and what E8's payout record, Trustpilot and Reddit show.

What to check first
Know your program
E8 Signature pays 80% on demand once a 35% best-day rule, a payout buffer and (after the first payout) five profitable days are met. E8 Zero pays 80% or 100% daily with no consistency rule in the funded stage, but smaller per-request caps on Starter.
Check the blocker
Signature: is your best day at or under 35% of this cycle's profit, and is the balance above the starting balance plus the buffer? Zero: will the request leave the balance above the starting balance, which becomes the loss level after the first payout?
Size the request
Each request is capped by account size (and, on Signature, by payout number). Only this cycle's profit counts, anything you leave behind becomes buffer, and the account closes after its fourth payout.

01 E8 Signature: One-step, $25K to $150K, 80% splitProduct page · checked October 11, 2026 On demand
After the 6% target is reached, the Signature product page lets you request once every criterion is met: no single day above 35% of the profit made this cycle, a minimum of $100 (so $125 of profit at 80%), a buffer equal to the EOD drawdown left in the account, the per-request cap, and from the second payout on, five profitable days of at least 0.3% realized profit since the last payout ($75 / $150 / $300 / $450 by size).
Only profit earned in the current cycle can be paid; unused profit from earlier cycles does not carry over. The account closes after 4 payouts (5 for accounts bought before October 1, 2026, 17:00 UTC), and you move on to a free challenge of the same size. Signature also has a 2% daily pause in the funded stage, a soft limit that stops trading for the day without breaching the account.
02 E8 Zero Starter: One-step, $25K to $150K, 80% or 100%Product page · checked October 11, 2026 Daily
The E8 Zero product page lists no consistency rule, no minimum trading days, no minimum profitable days and no daily profit cap in the funded stage. You can request every day, from $100 up to a cap of $600 (25K), $1,000 (50K), $1,500 (100K) or $2,000 (150K) per request.
Starter is the cheaper Zero version with smaller caps. The 40% best-day rule applies only while passing the challenge. After the first payout the loss level locks at the starting balance, so a request that takes the balance down to it breaches the account.
03 E8 Zero Max: One-step, $25K to $200K, 80% or 100%Product page · checked October 11, 2026 Daily
Identical rules to Starter, with larger per-request caps: $1,500 (25K), $3,000 (50K), $5,000 (100K) and $7,000 (200K). Caps depend only on the account size, not on the payout number.
Max costs more than Starter at every size (see the worked examples), so it suits traders who expect to produce more profit per day than the Starter cap lets them take. Both versions allow at most 3 Zero performance accounts at once.
Payout caps, buffers and balance requirements
01 E8 Signature caps for accounts bought after October 1, 2026Payout caps article Current table
| Signature account | Buffer (= EOD drawdown) | 1st payout | 2nd payout | 3rd payout | 4th payout | Most you can request in total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,250 | $1,250 | $4,500 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 | $1,250 | $1,250 | $2,000 | $2,000 | $6,500 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | $2,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 | $10,000 |
| $150,000 | $4,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 | $3,500 | $3,500 | $13,000 |
Caps are on the amount you request, before the 80% split. The last column adds up the four caps: it is the most profit one Signature account can ever pay out under the current table, before the split. The buffer is the EOD drawdown for each size and never comes out of the account.
02 Older Signature accountsPayout caps article 5 payouts
| Signature account (bought before Oct 1, 2026) | Buffer | 1st and 2nd | 3rd and 4th | 5th |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,250 | $1,500 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 | $1,250 | $2,250 | $3,250 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 | $2,250 | $3,250 | $4,250 |
| $150,000 | $4,500 | $3,250 | $4,250 | $5,250 |
These accounts keep the earlier table, a fifth payout and a $4,500 buffer on 150K. Check the purchase time on your order if you bought around October 1.
03 Balance you need for a full-size requestPayout caps article · BestProps calculation Balance math
| Signature account | Balance before 1st or 2nd payout can be taken at the cap | Balance for the full 3rd or 4th payout |
|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $27,000 ($25,000 + $1,000 buffer + $1,000 cap) | $27,250 |
| $50,000 | $53,250 | $54,000 |
| $100,000 | $105,000 | $106,000 |
| $150,000 | $157,000 (buffer $4,000) | $157,500 |
The caps article publishes this table for the older cap ladder; the figures above apply the same formula to the post-October 1 caps and the $4,000 150K drawdown. You can still request less than the cap with a lower balance, as long as at least $125 of profit (the $100 minimum at 80%) sits above the buffer.
04 E8 Zero capsE8 Zero product page By size only
| Zero account | Starter cap per request | Max cap per request | EOD drawdown | Ceiling over 4 payouts (Starter / Max) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $600 | $1,500 | $1,000 | $2,400 / $6,000 |
| $50,000 | $1,000 | $3,000 | $1,500 | $4,000 / $12,000 |
| $100,000 | $1,500 | $5,000 | $3,000 | $6,000 / $20,000 |
| $150,000 | $2,000 | Not offered | $3,990 | $8,000 / not offered |
| $200,000 | Not offered | $7,000 | $6,000 | Not offered / $28,000 |
Zero caps depend only on account size, not on payout number. The ceiling column multiplies the cap by four payouts, before the split; at the 100% split you keep all of it. Zero has no fixed buffer, but whatever you leave above the starting balance after a request is the room you trade with.
Payout checks before you request
01 Payouts only from the performance stagePayout overview article Funded stage
Payouts “can be requested only in the SimFi™ Performance stage”. The payout overview says there is no fixed schedule: Signature is on demand and Zero allows daily requests. The request button on the dashboard lights up only when every requirement is met; unmet ones show as “pending” in the payout overview.
If the button is grey, read the pending item first. It is almost always the best-day rule, the profitable-day count or the buffer on Signature.
02 35% best-day rule (Signature)35% Best Day Rule article 35% of cycle profit
No single day may exceed 35% of the total profit of the payout period. If it does, you do not lose the account; you keep trading until it falls under 35%. The best-day article gives the fast math: best day ÷ 0.35 = the total profit you need. Best day and current performance reset after every payout.
A $1,500 best day needs $4,286 of cycle profit before you can request. Splitting a winning position across days, hedging or partial closes to dodge the rule can be consolidated into a single day.
