LucidPro is Lucid Trading’s one-time-fee futures evaluation in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K sizes. You pass by hitting the profit target ($1,250 on 25K, $3,000 on 50K, $6,000 on 100K, $9,000 on 150K) without touching an end-of-day trailing max loss limit; there is no evaluation consistency rule, so a one-day pass is possible. The funded account has three payout gates that reset every cycle: a minimum profit goal ($250 on 25K, $500 on 50K, $750 on 100K, $1,000 on 150K), a 40% consistency rule, and a buffer that keeps the balance above the max loss limit plus $100. Requests start at $500 and are capped at $1,000, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000 for the first payout and $1,500, $2,500, $3,000, $3,500 after that (25K to 150K). The split is 90/10, there is no funded scaling plan, and Payout 5 puts the account in Lucid’s live review pool. Checked against Lucid’s help centre on October 13, 2026.
This guide covers one Lucid Trading plan: LucidPro, also written Lucid Pro. It sets out the LucidPro evaluation rules, the funded account rules, the payout rules and payout policy, and the maximum payout for every account size, with worked examples. Every rule was read from Lucid’s own help centre and pricing pages on October 13, 2026. Where Lucid’s pages disagree, or where a rule depends on when you bought or reset the account, we say so. (LucidPro here means the Lucid Trading plan, not the similarly named AI video tool that also appears in search results.)
LucidPro Rules at a Glance by Account Size
A LucidPro account has two stages: a simulated evaluation and a simulated funded account that pays real cash payouts. The table puts every size-dependent number on one screen. Sources: LucidPro Evaluation Account, LucidPro Funded Account, LucidPro Payouts and LucidPro Drawdown.

Everything on this page describes LucidPro accounts sold today. Three dates change the rules: accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST keep a 35% consistency rule and 100% of the first $10,000 in payouts; accounts bought or reset on or before February 27, 2026 move live under the legacy terms, after a sixth payout (LucidPro Live (Legacy)); and accounts bought or reset on or before January 19, 2026 may also choose an older live structure. Check your purchase or last reset date before applying any number here.
LucidPro Evaluation Rules
The LucidPro evaluation is a simulated account with a profit target. Hit the target without the balance touching the max loss limit and you can upgrade to a LucidPro funded account. Lucid lists these features on its evaluation page:
- One-time fee, no monthly rebilling and no time limit to pass.
- You can pass in one trading day: there is no evaluation consistency rule and no minimum number of days.
- Real-time activation: the funded account is ready 5 to 30 minutes after you hit the target, with no activation fee.
- Full contract size from the first trade; there is no evaluation scaling plan.
- The daily loss limit can be switched on or off when you buy the account.
| Account size | Profit target | Target as % of size | Max loss limit (EOD) | Daily loss limit (DLL on) | Max size |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,250 | 5% | $1,000 | $600 | 2 minis or 20 micros |
| 50K | $3,000 | 6% | $2,000 | $1,200 | 4 minis or 40 micros |
| 100K | $6,000 | 6% | $3,000 | $1,800 | 6 minis or 60 micros |
| 150K | $9,000 | 6% | $4,500 | $2,700 | 10 minis or 100 micros |
The 25K target is 5% of the account; the other three sizes are 6%. Because the evaluation has no consistency rule, one large day that reaches the target passes the account, which is the main difference from the LucidFlex evaluation and its 50% rule.
Lucid’s evaluation and daily loss limit articles list the 25K LucidPro DLL as “None”. The newer funded account article and the pricing card on Lucid’s homepage (read October 13, 2026) list a $600 DLL for the 25K when the DLL is switched on. The pricing card is the current product page, so plan for a $600 daily limit on a 25K bought with DLL on, and ask support if it matters to your strategy.
Daily loss limit: on or off
LucidPro lets you choose the daily loss limit (DLL) at checkout (LucidPro Customization). With DLL on, a daily limit applies in both the evaluation and the funded account and the account is cheaper. With DLL off, neither stage has a daily limit and you pay an add-on fee. The setting cannot be changed on an active account; a different setting means buying a new account. The DLL is a soft breach: hitting it stops trading until the next session, and the account is only lost if the max loss limit is hit (LucidPro Daily Loss Limit).
Worked example: passing a 50K LucidPro evaluation
- You start at $50,000. The max loss limit starts at $48,000 and trails your highest closing balance by $2,000.
- Day 1 closes at $51,200. The limit moves up to $49,200. With DLL on, a loss of $1,200 in one session would have stopped you for the day.
- Day 2 closes at $53,000, which is the $3,000 target. There is no consistency check, so the evaluation is passed, even though day 2 alone made 60% of the profit.
- The funded account appears within 5 to 30 minutes with a fresh $50,000 balance. No activation fee is charged.
LucidPro Funded Account Rules
The LucidPro funded account keeps the evaluation’s size, max loss limit and contract limit. Lucid’s funded account article lists: an optional fixed DLL, a scaling DLL that grows with your best end-of-day profit, no scaling plan (full size immediately) and “no simulated payout caps”. We read that last point as no lifetime limit on total payouts: each individual request is still capped, as the payout rules below show.
| Account size | Max loss limit | Fixed DLL (below initial trail) | LucidScale DLL (above initial trail) | Max size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,000 | $600 (optional) | 60% of highest end-of-day profit | 2 minis or 20 micros |
| 50K | $2,000 | $1,200 (optional) | 60% of highest end-of-day profit | 4 minis or 40 micros |
| 100K | $3,000 | $1,800 (optional) | 60% of highest end-of-day profit | 6 minis or 60 micros |
| 150K | $4,500 | $2,700 (optional) | 60% of highest end-of-day profit | 10 minis or 100 micros |
- No scaling plan. You can trade the maximum size from the first funded trade. LucidFlex, by contrast, starts below full size.
- 40% consistency on every payout. Your largest day in the payout cycle must be 40% or less of the cycle’s total profit.
- Payout buffer. The balance must stay above the initial max loss limit plus $100 after the payout comes out.
- Simulated account, real payouts. Lucid describes the funded account as simulated. Payouts are paid in cash; live capital only comes through Lucid’s live program.
How the LucidScale DLL works
With DLL on, the funded account starts with the same fixed DLL as the evaluation. Once the account closes above the initial trail balance, Lucid replaces it with the LucidScale DLL: highest end-of-day account profit x 60% (LucidPro Daily Loss Limit). It rises as your best closing profit rises and does not fall when the account draws down. Lucid’s example: a highest end-of-day profit of $4,000 gives a $2,400 DLL.
| Account size | Fixed DLL | Initial trail balance | LucidScale DLL at the trail (60% of profit) | LucidScale DLL at $4,000 best profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $600 | $26,100 | $660 | $2,400 |
| 50K | $1,200 | $52,100 | $1,260 | $2,400 |
| 100K | $1,800 | $103,100 | $1,860 | $2,400 |
| 150K | $2,700 | $154,600 | $2,760 | $2,400 |
Lucid’s pricing card words the LucidScale DLL as “60% of Peak EOD Balance”, while the help-centre formula and example use profit, not balance. Sixty percent of a $50,000 balance would be far larger than the max loss limit, so the profit reading is the one that has any effect. The help centre does not say whether a payout lowers the LucidScale DLL; it only says the DLL does not decrease when the account draws down.
LucidPro Drawdown and Max Loss Limit
LucidPro evaluation and funded accounts use an end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown (LucidPro Drawdown). At the end of each session, the max loss limit (MLL) moves up to sit a fixed distance below your highest closing balance. Intraday swings do not move it. Once a closing balance passes the initial trail balance, the MLL locks at the starting balance plus $100 and stops moving. If the balance reaches the MLL, the account is breached.
| Account size | Starting balance | Starting MLL | Initial trail balance | Locked MLL | Room above lock at the trail |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $25,000 | $24,000 | $26,100 | $25,100 | $1,000 |
| 50K | $50,000 | $48,000 | $52,100 | $50,100 | $2,000 |
| 100K | $100,000 | $97,000 | $103,100 | $100,100 | $3,000 |
| 150K | $150,000 | $145,500 | $154,600 | $150,100 | $4,500 |
The buffer and the trail are the same number. To request any payout you must already be above the initial trail balance, so by your first payout the MLL has locked. Because the buffer stops you withdrawing below that level, a LucidPro account always keeps a full max loss limit of room after a payout: on a 50K, a balance of $52,100 against a locked MLL of $50,100. That is a real advantage over plans where a payout can leave you a few hundred dollars from breach.
Lucid says the payout amount is deducted within minutes of approval. If you trade after requesting and the balance falls into the buffer before approval, the request may be denied; if the balance falls below the buffer after the deduction, the account is at risk. Trade as if the payout has already left the account.
LucidPro Consistency Rule: 40% per Payout Cycle
Lucid’s formula is: largest single day profit / account profit = consistency percentage. In a LucidPro funded account the result must be 40% or less before you can request a payout, and the count starts again after each payout (LucidPro Consistency Percentage). There is no consistency rule in the LucidPro evaluation, and none once an account is moved live.
Lucid’s example: on a 50K funded account, a largest day of $1,000 with $4,000 of account profit gives $1,000 / $4,000 = 25%, which passes. If the largest day is above 40%, you are not failed; you keep trading until your total is large enough that the big day falls to 40% or less.
What 40% means in practice
Your cycle profit must be at least 2.5 times your largest day. That also means no payout can come from fewer than three winning days, because with two days one of them is always at least half of the total. This is where the “3 days to payout” on Lucid’s LucidPro pricing card comes from; the help centre itself sets no minimum day count.
| Largest day in the cycle | Cycle profit needed (2.5x) | Profit still needed from other days |
|---|---|---|
| $500 | $1,250 | $750 |
| $1,000 | $2,500 | $1,500 |
| $1,500 | $3,750 | $2,250 |
| $2,000 | $5,000 | $3,000 |
| $3,000 | $7,500 | $4,500 |
A large first day does not fail the account; it raises the bar for that cycle. On a 50K, a $2,000 day means the cycle needs $5,000 of profit before a request, even though the first-payout cap is $2,000. Traders who expect one or two big days per cycle should compare LucidFlex, which has no funded consistency rule.
Lucid raised the LucidPro funded consistency from 35% to 40% for accounts bought or reset on or after November 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST. Accounts bought or reset before then keep the 35% rule, which needs a cycle total of about 2.86 times the largest day.
LucidPro Payout Rules and Payout Policy
All of the following must be met to request a payout from a LucidPro funded account, and all of them reset after every approved payout (LucidPro Payouts):
- Minimum profit goal. Earn at least $250 on 25K, $500 on 50K, $750 on 100K, $1,000 on 150K between payouts.
- 40% consistency. Your largest single-day profit in the cycle is 40% or less of the cycle’s total profit.
- Profit over the buffer. After the payout, the balance must stay at or above the buffer: the initial max loss limit plus $100 above the starting balance. You cannot withdraw from the buffer.
- Request between $500 and the cap. The minimum request is $500. The maximum is the cap for your size and payout number.
- No rule breaks, and requests are final. A request cannot be edited or cancelled once submitted, and any violation of the trading rules, terms or account agreement makes the account ineligible.
| Account size | Buffer balance | Minimum request | Balance needed for $500 | Max first payout | Balance needed for max |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $26,100 | $500 | $26,600 | $1,000 | $27,100 |
| 50K | $52,100 | $500 | $52,600 | $2,000 | $54,100 |
| 100K | $103,100 | $500 | $103,600 | $2,500 | $105,600 |
| 150K | $154,600 | $500 | $155,100 | $3,000 | $157,600 |
| Account size | Buffer balance | Minimum request | Balance needed for $500 | Max payout 2+ | Balance needed for max |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $26,100 | $500 | $26,600 | $1,500 | $27,600 |
| 50K | $52,100 | $500 | $52,600 | $2,500 | $54,600 |
| 100K | $103,100 | $500 | $103,600 | $3,000 | $106,100 |
| 150K | $154,600 | $500 | $155,100 | $3,500 | $158,100 |
There is no fixed payout window: you can request on any day once every condition is met. Lucid’s general FAQ adds that eligibility updates with end-of-day accounting, that you submit the request in Dashboard > Payouts, and that KYC may be required at payout.
LucidPro profit split
Every LucidPro payout is split 90% to the trader and 10% to Lucid. Accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST still receive 100% of the first $10,000. Lucid charges commissions per side by contract, for example $1.75 on ES and NQ and $0.50 on MES and MNQ (Approved Products and Commissions), and the payout article does not say whether the profit goal is measured before or after commissions, so plan on net figures.
When the profit goal is the rule that binds
For the first payout, the buffer is the hard part: on a 50K you need $2,600 of profit before you can request even $500, far above the $500 goal. From the second payout on, the goal matters more. If your last payout brought the balance back to the buffer, a 25K or 50K needs $500 of new profit for a $500 request, which also clears the goal. On a 100K or 150K the goal is $750 or $1,000, so you need that much new profit in the cycle even if you leave extra balance above the buffer and only want $500.
LucidPro Max Payout by Account Size
LucidPro caps each request, and the cap rises once after the first payout. The cap is on the request; your share after the 90/10 split is shown separately.
| Account size | Max first payout | Profit needed for max first payout | Your 90% of first max | Max payout 2+ | Your 90% of payout 2+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,000 | $2,100 | $900 | $1,500 | $1,350 |
| 50K | $2,000 | $4,100 | $1,800 | $2,500 | $2,250 |
| 100K | $2,500 | $5,600 | $2,250 | $3,000 | $2,700 |
| 150K | $3,000 | $7,600 | $2,700 | $3,500 | $3,150 |
LucidPro 25K payout rules and max payout
On a LucidPro 25K the buffer balance is $26,100. The first payout can be $500 once the balance reaches $26,600 ($1,600 profit), and the $1,000 maximum once it reaches $27,100 ($2,100 profit). From the second payout the cap is $1,500, which needs the balance at $27,600. The cycle goal is $250, consistency is 40%, and with DLL on the daily limit is $600 below the trail. Note that on a 25K the minimum request is half of the first-payout cap, so a $500 request uses up a large part of the cycle.
LucidPro 50K payout rules and max payout
On a 50K the buffer balance is $52,100. A $500 first payout needs $52,600 ($2,600 profit) and the $2,000 maximum needs $54,100 ($4,100 profit). Later payouts cap at $2,500, which needs $54,600. The cycle goal is $500, the max loss limit is $2,000 and the fixed DLL is $1,200 when switched on.
LucidPro 100K and 150K max payout
The 100K caps are $2,500 for the first payout and $3,000 after; the 150K caps are $3,000 and $3,500. The larger sizes need much more profit before the first request ($5,600 and $7,600 for the first maximum) because the buffer grows with the drawdown, while the caps grow only modestly over the 50K. A 150K costs $365 list against $172 for a 50K, yet its later-payout cap is $3,500 against $2,500.
Worked example: three payouts on a 50K LucidPro
- You start funded at $50,000. Over the cycle you close at $54,100, so profit is $4,100. Your best day was $1,500, which is 36.6% of $4,100, so consistency passes.
- The balance is $2,000 above the $52,100 buffer, so you request the $2,000 first-payout cap and receive $1,800 after the split. The balance drops to $52,100; the MLL has been locked at $50,100 since the account first closed above $52,100.
- Cycle 2: you need $500 of new profit at minimum, and $2,500 for the payout 2 cap. Close at $54,600 with no day above $1,000 (40% of $2,500), request $2,500 and receive $2,250.
- Cycle 3 works the same way: another $2,500 of profit spread over at least three days for another $2,500 request. The full $2,000 of drawdown room is intact at the start of every cycle.
| Account size | Total trading profit needed | Total requested | Your 90% share | Simulated profit left in the account |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $8,100 | $7,000 | $6,300 | $1,100 |
| 50K | $14,100 | $12,000 | $10,800 | $2,100 |
| 100K | $17,600 | $14,500 | $13,050 | $3,100 |
| 150K | $21,600 | $17,000 | $15,300 | $4,600 |
The money left in the account is the buffer. Under the current live structure it does not become live capital: a live account starts at a $0 balance and the simulated account is closed.
LucidPro Payout Timing and Methods
Lucid’s payout article says funds are deducted from the account within a few minutes of approval and disbursed to your payout method within 2 business days. Its general FAQ is more specific: typically 5 to 15 minutes for Plaid, or up to 2 business days if international. Methods listed in the Payout Methods article:
| Method | Who can use it | Notes from Lucid |
|---|---|---|
| Plaid | U.S.-based traders | Instant bank transfer; connect under Dashboard > Payouts > Add Bank Account |
| WorkMarket by ADP | U.S. and international traders | Bank transfer or PayPal; funds typically as early as the next business day |
| Crypto | International traders | BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC |
Lucid publishes no payout processing fee in these articles. U.S. traders may receive a 1099 tax form where applicable, according to the FAQ.
What Happens After Your Fifth LucidPro Payout
Lucid’s pricing card lists “Payouts to Live: 5” for LucidPro, and its New Live Structure article says traders enter the live review pool after Payout 5 on a Flex, Pro or Direct plan. Payout 5 is “the maximum payout level, not a guaranteed minimum for live eligibility”, and every live move is at the risk team’s discretion. Do not plan on an automatic promotion.
- One live account per eligible funded account. Each funded account must have at least one payout to qualify. All simulated accounts, including reserve evaluations, are closed when you move live.
- Live starts at a $0 balance. The starting live drawdown matches the funded MLL ($1,000 on 25K, $2,000 on 50K, $3,000 on 100K, $4,500 on 150K), with daily payouts, an EOD drawdown, no daily loss limit and no consistency rule. A live scaling plan sets contract limits by live profit.
- Repeatable live bonus. Make $2,000, $4,000, $6,000, $9,000 of live profit (25K to 150K) and complete 20 trading days to earn $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, $4,500, split 90/10.
- Cashout option. If you do not want to trade live, you can take a cashout of 50% of the live starting balance, split 90/10. With no choice inside 24 hours of the move-to-live email, accounts move live automatically.
- Refund for unpromoted accounts. A funded account that is not moved live because it is ineligible has its evaluation fee refunded, if at least 50% of its drawdown remains.
Live accounts follow the Live Scaling Plan: for example, a 50K live account starts at 2 minis on CME products and reaches 4 minis at $4,000 of live profit. A small number of top traders are later invited into LucidMaxx, an invitation-only eval-to-live program (New LucidMaxx Program).
Legacy LucidPro live terms (bought or reset on or before February 27, 2026)
Older LucidPro accounts follow the legacy live rules: the move to live comes after the sixth and final payout, or earlier at the risk team’s discretion, and simulated profit is moved live up to a cap per account, with part deposited on day one and the rest held in escrow. Profit above the cap is forfeited.
| Account size | Max moved live per account | Deposited on day 1 |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $15,000 | $2,000 |
| 50K | $20,000 | $3,000 |
| 100K | $25,000 | $4,000 |
| 150K | $30,000 | $5,000 |
Escrow starts releasing after 10 profitable live days and $10,000 of live profit, at $5,000 for every further $10,000 of live profit, reviewed weekly, with a 60-day wait from account opening before any withdrawal. Accounts bought or reset on or before January 19, 2026 may instead choose an older structure with a $150,000 total live funding cap across all accounts.
How Many LucidPro Accounts Can You Have?
Lucid’s account limits are per household or family and shared across plans (Maximum Number of Accounts):
| Account type | Limit | How it is shared |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluations | Up to 10 active | Evaluations plus funded accounts cannot exceed 10 in total |
| Funded accounts | Up to 5 active | All funded plan types combined (Pro, Flex, Direct and others) cannot exceed 5 |
| Live accounts | Up to 5 active | Per household or family |
So you can hold up to 5 funded LucidPro accounts if you have no other Lucid funded accounts, plus 5 evaluations in reserve that you can still trade. With five funded 50K accounts, the first round of payouts could be up to 5 x $2,000 before the split. If one household member is trading live, the others may not trade simulated accounts.
Lucid prohibits opposite positions in the same or correlated contracts across accounts, for example long ES in one account and short NQ in another (Prohibited: Hedging). Flagged accounts are reset to the prior day’s balance without resetting the drawdown; repeat cases lead to breaches and possible permanent restriction.
