We checked 18 prop firms for Nigerian residents, product by product, on October 2, 2026. Fourteen pass cleanly enough to rank, including two whose only serious finding is a live call-up (we treat it as a warning, not a reason to rank lower). Four are cautionary: three name Nigeria directly on their own restricted-country pages (Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader) and one (The5ers) carries an unresolved conflict between its own size table and its own FAQ on the max-loss floor. Cleanest pass: Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT, which names a Nigeria-specific Bank Transfer payout rail. Among the fourteen ranked firms’ cheapest sizes, only Tradeify Select 25K ($109) and RebelsFunding Silver 20K ($130) sit above the tightest reported naira-card cap, about $100 a month at Stanbic IBTC.

Freshness: checked October 2, 2026. Re-check before you buy; CBN-driven naira-card caps and firm restricted-country lists both change often. This is not legal or tax advice.

Quick picks among prop firms for Nigerian traders

  • Named local payout rail: Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT, $308. Bank Transfer named for Nigeria, $10,000 cap.
  • Live checkout with a naira rail: RebelsFunding RF Silver, $420 list. Kora (NGN) surfaced at checkout.
  • Cheapest clean 2-step: Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 6%, $27 at $5K, $217 at $50K.
  • Firms that exclude Nigeria: Topstep, MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader all name Nigeria on their own restricted pages.

Why checking per product matters: three firms in this post (Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader) name Nigeria by name on their own current restricted-country pages, and the naira-card cap most often reported in 2026 Nigerian financial press is about $100 a month, at Stanbic IBTC.

BestProps does not give legal advice. SEC Nigeria publishes a Schedule of Illegal Operators Sealed Up, a static list of 38 domestic Ponzi-style and phantom-investment schemes sealed between 2013 and 2022 (for example MMM Federal Republic of Nigeria, Loom Nigeria Money, MBA Forex and Investment Ltd). None of the 18 firms checked for this post, or their known holding entities, appear on it. The list is static and composed of domestic schemes already shut down, not a continuously updated check of offshore simulated-trading products, so a firm’s absence from it says only that SEC Nigeria has not sealed that firm up as a domestic scheme, nothing more.

A Nigerian reader checking a new prop firm against SEC Nigeria’s page (sec.gov.ng) should expect it to be silent on offshore prop firms either way, since these products are simulated-capital training accounts, not securities offerings, and SEC Nigeria registration is not the direct test the way it would be for a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Several firms in this post call their own products legal for Nigerian residents; that is their own claim, quoted as such, never repeated here as fact.

Paying a prop firm from Nigeria

Most firms charge an international card in USD (BrightFunded in EUR). A handful name a Nigeria-specific or local rail directly: Goat Funded Trader’s checkout includes Kora inside a combined payment button, FundedNext names Verve and Bank Transfer for Nigeria specifically, RebelsFunding’s checkout surfaces a dedicated Kora (NGN) option once Nigeria is selected, and FXIFY’s own blog claims a Kora Pay integration (not reconfirmed at checkout). Every other ranked firm charges in USD or EUR with no naira-denominated option.

CBN-driven naira-card international spend caps change often and are not published by the prop firms themselves. The tightest figure found in 2026 Nigerian financial press is roughly $100 a month at Stanbic IBTC; other banks report looser caps. Re-derived from the fourteen ranked firms’ own cheapest published sizes at list price: every one clears a $100 cap in a single transaction except Tradeify’s Select 25K ($109) and RebelsFunding’s Silver 20K ($130), both of which would need a slightly looser bank tier, a domiciliary account, an international card, or crypto. Confirm your own bank’s current limit before paying; this figure is press-sourced, not firm-published, and unverified by BestProps.

Compare rails in prop firms that accept bank transfer and our payout methods guide.

Getting prop firm payouts in Nigeria

  • Bank Transfer named for Nigeria: Goat Funded Trader, with a $10,000 cap per payout and a 3% processing fee, and FundingPips, whose Reward Methods page names Nigeria for bank transfer to a local account ($500 minimum).
  • Rise confirmed to pay NGN directly: per Rise’s own blog, independently of what each firm itself publishes; The5ers routes payouts through Rise.
  • Crypto, the surest fallback: named specifically for Nigeria by FXIFY (USDT via Binance P2P) and AquaFunded’s futures arm; available with no stated country gate at FundingPips, Crypto Fund Trader, Funded Trading Plus and BrightFunded (USDC).
  • Not confirmed for Nigeria by name: Alpha Capital Group, AquaFunded’s CFD arm, Blue Guardian, E8 Markets’ WorkMarket rail, FTMO, Tradeify and FundedNext’s own payout direction.

Payout fees and minimums vary more than the headline split suggests. Goat Funded Trader’s first two payouts on a $50K account are capped at 6% of balance or $10,000, whichever is lower; FundingPips needs only 1% of the Master Account size to request a payout, the smallest minimum among the fourteen ranked firms; Tradeify’s Select Daily caps requests at $1,250 per payout. Where a firm names more than one rail, the uncapped one is usually crypto, not the bank or card rail.

Ranked prop firms for Nigerian traders

All fourteen pass a Nigeria check on the firm’s own current page. Two (Alpha Capital Group, Tradeify) carry a live call-up as a named first watch-out; we treat it as a warning, not a reason to rank lower.

Goat Funded Trader 2 Step GOAT names a Nigeria bank transfer payout

Verdict: First. Nigeria is absent from the firm’s own complete restricted-countries list and Bank Transfer is named by name for Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and five other African countries.

Video: “Goat Funded Trader Prop Firm Explained (full tutorial + real payout proof),” Goat Funded Trader official YouTube channel, 2025-11-16. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: No official Goat Funded Trader video covers Nigeria specifically. This official tutorial explains its programs generally; “payout proof” in the title is a firm claim.

Goat Funded Trader’s restricted-countries article (updated today, October 2, 2026, 33 names): “Unfortunately you cannot create an account or use the platform if you’re in any of the above list of restricted countries.” Nigeria is absent. Separately: “Bank transfer is currently available in Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ghana only.”

  • Pay in from Nigeria: card, wallets (PayPal, Skrill) or crypto, charged in USD; Kora is one option inside a combined “Crypto / Card / PayPal / Kora / AstroPay” checkout button, not a dedicated naira rail.
  • Payout rail to Nigeria: Bank Transfer, named explicitly for Nigeria: 3% processing fee, $100 minimum, $10,000 cap per payout, within 2 business days. Rise, Skrill ($5,000 cap) and crypto ($3,000 cap) also available, none confirmed or excluded for Nigeria by name.
  • Platform: TradeLocker, MatchTrader, MT5 or cTrader.
  • Cost: $308 one-time at $50K list; $169.40 with code GFT45; the $5K size is a fixed $17 special with no code needed.
  • Watch out for: Terms & Conditions 5.1 describes passed traders being “allocated capital to trade in a live account under the terms of an agreement with Goat Funded Trader” with no decline mechanism or statement published; treat this as the same kind of live-allocation step other ranked firms name as a warning, not a reason to avoid the firm. Every reward also loses a 3% processing fee regardless of rail.
  • Worked example: The first two payouts on a $50K account are capped at 6% of the initial balance or $10,000, whichever is lower (so $3,000 each even on a bigger profit); minus the 3% fee that nets about $2,910, sent by Bank Transfer, Rise, Skrill or crypto.
  • Also check: The firm’s restricted-country list grew from 28 to 33 names after September 28, 2026, adding Bolivia, Bosnia, Laos and Ukraine; BestProps’ own profile still carries the shorter, older list.
  • Trustpilot and records: rating hidden (“breach of our guidelines” banner), 4,343 reviews. Goat Funded Trader profile

FXIFY Two Phase Classic names Nigeria as accepted with no restrictions

Verdict: Second. FXIFY’s own September 2026 blog names Nigeria as accepted and names a Nigerian payment processor; Nigeria is also absent from the firm’s general 35-country not-accepted list.

Video: “How to Trade Your FXIFY Account Inside TradingView,” FXIFY official YouTube channel, 2025-09-30. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: No official FXIFY video names Nigeria or Africa specifically. This official walkthrough covers trading on the ranked product’s platform.

FXIFY’s own blog, published September 9, 2026: “FXIFY accepts Nigerian traders with no country restrictions. You can purchase any evaluation model directly through the website. FXIFY integrates Kora Pay, a Nigerian payment processor, at checkout.” The firm’s general FAQ separately lists 35 prohibited countries and Nigeria is not among them.

  • Pay in from Nigeria: international card at checkout; Kora Pay (local NGN bank transfer and card) is named on the firm’s own blog but was not found on the live checkout or programs pages during this check: confirm it is live before relying on it.
  • Payout rail to Nigeria: Rise is FXIFY’s sole fiat payout provider firm-wide with no Nigeria statement either way. The same blog names a Nigeria-specific crypto workaround: “FXIFY pays out in USDT in both TRC-20 and ERC-20 formats. Nigerian traders sell USDT on Binance P2P and receive NGN directly into their bank account.” This crypto claim also sits only on the blog, not the general payouts FAQ.
  • Platform: MT5, DXtrade or TradingView.
  • Cost: $379 one-time at $50K Two Phase Classic; cheapest size is $59 at $5K.
  • Watch out for: Neither the Kora Pay pay-in claim nor the USDT-payout claim for Nigeria could be reconfirmed on FXIFY’s own checkout or general payouts page, only on its blog article; confirm both are live before paying. FXIFY Futures is a separate arm and entity that BestProps’ own restricted-country page lists as prohibited for Nigeria; we did not re-verify that separately, one sentence only.
  • Worked example: A $1,000 funded profit at the 80% default split (90% with the paid add-on) pays $800 through Rise with no published fee figure from FXIFY’s side, or in USDT with the Binance P2P off-ramp the firm names specifically for Nigeria.
  • Also check: FXIFY has terminated at least 11 dated passed or funded traders since January 2026 for “latency arbitrage,” a firm-wide risk unrelated to Nigeria, with no trade-level evidence disclosed per Trustpilot reviewers.
  • Trustpilot and records: 4.3/5 on 6,333 reviews. FXIFY profile

FundedNext Stellar 2-Step names Nigeria for Bank Transfer and Verve

Verdict: Third. The firm’s complete CFD restricted-country list and its Terms of Service both omit Nigeria, and Nigeria is named by name for two local payment methods.

Video: “Stressed about consistency rules? Relax, we've got you covered with Stellar Instant!,” FundedNext official YouTube channel, 2025-07-15. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: No official FundedNext video covers Nigeria specifically. This official Short explains the consistency rule on the ranked product line; the payout figures elsewhere on the channel are the firm’s own claims.

FundedNext’s local-payment-methods article (dated August 6, 2026): “Nigeria: Bank Transfer, Verve.” Terms of Service 5.3 (last updated May 5, 2026) lists 20 restricted countries/territories for CFDs; Nigeria is absent from both documents.

  • Pay in from Nigeria: Bank Transfer and Verve, named for Nigeria; also international card, PayPal, Skrill, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Binance Pay or crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, SOL, USDT, USDC), all charged in USD.
  • Payout rail to Nigeria: Bank Transfer’s payout-side country list omits Nigeria (not excluded), but no FundedNext page separately confirms the payout direction reaches a Nigerian bank by name, only the pay-in direction; treat the payout rail as not published rather than confirmed. Crypto (USDT TRC20/ERC20, USDC ERC20) carries no country exclusion anywhere.
  • Platform: MT4, MT5, cTrader (+$25) or Match-Trader (+$25 outside the US).
  • Cost: $299.99 one-time at $50K Stellar 2-Step; the cheapest size is $34.99 with code STOCT ($59.99 list) at $6K.
  • Watch out for: FundedNext names Nigeria for the pay-in side of Bank Transfer and Verve, but no page confirms the payout direction by name; a Nigerian trader should confirm with support that profit comes back the same way money went in before relying on it. FundedNext Futures is a separate arm, not researched for this post, one sentence only.
  • Worked example: Only 40% of profit from a trade opened within five minutes of high-impact news counts toward a payout (the News Reward Share Rule); outside that window, the 21-day first-payout wait and 80% split (rising to 90% with Scale-Up) apply the same way to a Nigerian trader as anywhere else.
  • Also check: BestProps’ own bank-transfer page names Bank Transfer for Nigeria but omits Verve, which the live help article names alongside it.
  • Trustpilot and records: 4.5/5 on 80,423 reviews. prop firms that accept bank transfer profile

RebelsFunding RF Silver shows a Kora NGN rail at a live Nigeria checkout

Verdict: Fourth. RebelsFunding publishes no restricted-country page at all, and a live checkout with Nigeria selected surfaced a local Kora NGN payment method and 0% VAT for Nigeria.

Video: No official RebelsFunding video covers Nigeria access or payout rails specifically. No official RebelsFunding video was found on a time-boxed channel search for this post; the video field is left blank rather than substituting an unrelated clip.

RebelsFunding’s checkout, read live October 2, 2026, with Nigeria selected as billing country: order currency switched from USD to EUR, a “Kora (NGN)” payment method appeared alongside Crypto Payment (Coingate), VAT was set to 0% for “NG,” and the phone country code auto-set to +234. No restricted-countries or eligibility-by-country page exists anywhere on the firm’s site to check this against.

  • Pay in from Nigeria: international card, Google/Apple Pay, PayPal, crypto (Coingate), or Kora (NGN), the last one appearing only after Nigeria is selected as the billing country.
  • Payout rail to Nigeria: The FAQ names “RiseWorks, a supported cryptocurrency method, bank transfer or another approved method” depending on availability and jurisdiction, with no Nigeria-specific rail, fee or minimum beyond the firm-wide $50 floor. RebelsFunding’s own promotional Nigeria blog post claims naira payout support through these same rails, but that claim sits outside the FAQ and Program Rules this post treats as authoritative.
  • Platform: RF-Trader, an in-house platform built on TradingView charts.
  • Cost: $420 one-time list at the ranked $80K size (promo $252 with the site-wide 40% banner, no stated end date); the cheapest size is $130 list ($78 promo) at $20K, which sits above a $100 naira-card cap at list price.
  • Watch out for: RebelsFunding’s own written rules never confirm a Nigeria-specific payout rail, fee or processing time; the Kora NGN option appearing at checkout is the strongest evidence found, but a Nigerian trader cannot point to a written payout guarantee the way they can at Goat Funded Trader or FundedNext.
  • Worked example: At the $50 minimum reward, requestable 14 calendar days after the first trade, RebelsFunding’s 75 to 90% split (program-dependent) plus a 100% fee-refund bonus on Silver beats the flat 80% most forex firms in this post start at, though the payout rail reaching a Nigerian bank is not written down anywhere on the firm’s own pages.
  • Also check: Multiple Nigeria-flagged Trustpilot reviewers appear in the firm’s most recent review feed, generally positive and payout-anticipating, with no Nigeria-specific complaint found.
  • Trustpilot and records: 4.3/5 on 2,781 reviews. no BestProps profile exists yet for this firm

Alpha Capital Group Alpha Pro 6% has Nigeria selectable at checkout

Verdict: Fifth. Nigeria is absent from the firm’s complete restricted-country list and is one of 204 selectable countries in the live checkout dropdown.

Video: “Skip the Evaluation. Keep 90%. Start from Day 1. ⚡,” Alpha Capital Group official YouTube channel, 2026-07-26. Source type: vendor-produced. Why selected: No official Alpha Capital Group video names Nigeria specifically. This official clip explains the Alpha Prime track, the call-up named below as this firm’s first watch-out.

Alpha Capital Group’s restricted-countries article names 24 countries as excluded; Nigeria is absent. The live checkout’s Country field (read October 1, 2026
