Trade The Pool sells one-time US stock and ETF evaluations (from $47 for a $5K Day MAX to $1,475 for a $200K Day FLEX) and pays 70% of profit every 14 days. The closest Trade The Pool alternatives for stock traders are The Trading Pit Stocks Challenge ($95 for $25K, $225 for $50K, also 70%), trader2B (monthly ToroChallenge plans from $99, a free $100K plan, splits from 50% to 99%) and PropShopTrader Equities ($215 to $1,429, 80% split, 101 approved symbols). Maverick Trading is the route to real capital, but it charges a membership fee and a performance bond. If you will switch markets, Topstep and Traders Launch are futures alternatives, and Vanquish Trader and Imperial Trader Funding are options-first. Almost every stock alternative is intraday only, so swing traders have the fewest like-for-like options.

People look for a Trade The Pool alternative for one of five reasons: the 70% split, tight daily pause and maximum loss limits, the trade rules (30-second minimum hold and a 10-cent minimum move), the wait between payouts, or a country that Trade The Pool does not serve. This guide is built around those reasons. For each alternative we name what it actually changes and what you give up.

Trade The Pool is unusual because it is stock-first. Most prop firms sell futures or forex/CFD evaluations, so a like-for-like replacement is a short list. We split the alternatives into three groups: other US stock evaluations, a real-capital stock and options desk, and firms that would move you to futures or options.

Every price, split and rule below was read from the firm’s own public pages on October 11, 2026. Where a figure only appears inside checkout or after sign-up, we say so. This is a review of published terms, not a purchased-account test: no evaluation pass, payout or support exception was measured.

Best Trade The Pool alternatives at a glance

What Trade The Pool costs and pays before you switch

Trade The Pool’s plan picker on October 11, 2026 listed one-time evaluation fees in two styles. FLEX (labelled Beginner) has wider loss limits and no deadline; MAX (Advanced) is cheaper with tighter limits and a time limit (program page).

Trade The Pool list prices, October 11, 2026. Buying power, then FLEX / MAX fee.
Day trading buying power FLEX MAX Swing buying power FLEX MAX
$5K $59 $47 $2K $87 $69
$25K $120 $97 $10K $420 $297
$50K $285 $230 $20K $670 $447
$100K $545 $435 $40K $1,240 $800
$200K $1,475 $1,100
Trade The Pool evaluation rules by program, October 11, 2026.
Program Target Daily pause Max loss Min positions Time Consistency
Day FLEX 6% 2% 4% 10 Unlimited Best position up to 50% of target
Day MAX 6% 1% 3% 20 60 days 30% during evaluation only
Swing FLEX 15% 3% 7% 5 Unlimited 50%
Swing MAX 15% 3% 7% 5 100 days 30% during evaluation

Every trade must last at least 30 seconds and move at least $0.10 to count. The split is 70/30. Payouts are every 14 days after the first trade or previous withdrawal, with a $300 minimum profit ($150 on the $5K account), by wire, crypto, Hub credits or card in 3 to 5 business days. FLEX funded accounts also need 3 days of at least 0.5% profit before a cash-out. Day accounts are liquidated at 15:50 ET; swing accounts can hold overnight and over weekends, but not through earnings.

The newer Edge program ($156 for $50K, $266 for $100K) pays 80/20, uses a 4% end-of-day maximum drawdown and a 40% consistency rule, and caps each withdrawal at $1,500 or $2,000 with a $500 minimum. Refunds: a full refund within 5 days of purchase if you have not traded and not breached, Hub credit after that, and nothing once trading starts (terms and conditions).

Worked example: on a $50K Day MAX ($230), the 6% target is $3,000, the daily pause is $500 and the maximum loss is $1,500. The target is twice the room you have to lose, which is the rule Reddit users most often call tight. On the $50K Day FLEX ($285) the room is $1,000 a day and $2,000 overall, for $55 more and no deadline.

How we chose these Trade The Pool alternatives

We kept a firm only if it changes at least one of the five common reasons to leave: the 70% share, the loss limits, the trade-duration rules, the payout timing, or country access. Stock alternatives come first because most people searching for a Trade The Pool alternative want to keep trading US shares. Futures and options firms follow for traders willing to change market.

We did not rank firms by a hidden score. Order inside each group follows how closely the product matches Trade The Pool’s core use: US equities, small one-time fees and large buying power. Prices are list prices on the stated date; temporary codes never decided the order.

We excluded forex/CFD firms that list no single stocks, and firms whose stock programme we could not read on an official page on the check date. That is why ThinkCapital, which often appears in side-by-side comparisons with Trade The Pool, is answered in the FAQ rather than listed.

The Trading Pit Stocks Challenge is the closest Trade The Pool alternative

The Trading Pit sells a stocks-only challenge with the same 70% split and the same 6% target as Trade The Pool’s day accounts. Its stocks page on October 11, 2026 listed two sizes: $25,000 for $95 and $50,000 for $225, both one-time fees (stocks page). Its official Telegram announced on October 8, 2026 that these prices replace $99 and $249 and that the target fell from 7% to 6% for new purchases.

The Trading Pit Stocks Challenge rules, October 11, 2026.
Rule $25K ($95) $50K ($225)
Profit target $1,500 (6%) $3,000 (6%)
Daily pause (challenge only) $500 (2%) $1,000 (2%)
Max drawdown $1,000 (4%), trails end-of-day balance until it reaches the starting balance $2,000 (4%), same trailing method
Minimum trading days 3 3
Consistency 40% on the challenge 40% on the challenge
Duration / inactivity Unlimited / 14 days Unlimited / 14 days
Profit share 70/30 70/30

What it changes: 9,000+ US stocks, IPOs and ETFs, no leverage (you trade the full value of each share), news trading allowed, and an end-of-day trailing drawdown rather than Trade The Pool’s static loss limit. The help centre says the programme is intraday only, with no overnight positions, and that trading costs include broker commissions and exchange fees (stocks FAQ). The site describes it as a simulated market with real-time execution.

Payouts: the first after 3 profitable trading days of $100 or more each (they need not be consecutive), then every 14 days for amounts above $200, reviewed within one working day. The help centre lists a 1% fee on the profit-share amount (withdrawal fees).

Worked example: on the $50K challenge, the 40% rule means no single day can make more than $1,200 of a $3,000 target; a $1,500 day would push the needed total up to $3,750. A $3,000 funded profit pays $2,100 at 70%, less the 1% fee ($21), so $2,079.

Give up: swing holds, and sizes above $50K. Choose it if you day trade liquid US names and want a cheaper ticket than Trade The Pool’s $285 $50K Day FLEX. On the check date the homepage also advertised the firm’s own code OCT35 (35% off selected accounts, valid October 5 to 23 per its official Telegram); details are on our Trading Pit deals page.

trader2B is the Trade The Pool alternative with monthly plans and a free account

trader2B runs the ToroChallenge on US stocks and ETFs only, billed monthly rather than once (compare plans). Every paid plan uses a 6% target, at least 200 round trades and a minimum Consistency Score of 50, a proprietary score whose formula is not published.

trader2B ToroChallenge plans, October 11, 2026.
Plan Price Buying power Target Max drawdown Daily loss Split Payouts
Toro25 $99/month ($66 on 3 months) $25K $1,500 $1,000 $200 95% Bi-weekly
Free Toro100 $0 $100K $6,000 $3,000 $500 50% Bi-weekly
Toro100 $199/month ($133 on 3 months) $100K $6,000 $3,000 $500 97% Bi-weekly
Toro250 $299/month ($199 on 3 months) $250K $15,000 $7,500 $1,250 99% Weekly

What it changes: the highest published splits of any stock firm here, no time limit, real-time data on paid plans, TradingView charts and an API for approved bots (platforms). The free Toro100 is day trading only, one per trader, needs ID verification and must be activated within 10 days (free challenge page).

What it costs after you pass: professional market-data registration, which trader2B says typically runs $150 to $250 a month and may be deducted from a future payout (next steps after passing). Funded accounts must be flat before 16:00 ET, and three losing days in a row can disable live access (funded account rules). trader2B says funded traders may trade live US markets through its partners, while its footer calls the ToroChallenge a simulated evaluation; we could not verify which applies without passing.

Worked example: the firm says an average pass took about 52 days in 2025. Two months of Toro100 is $398, or $399 for the three-month bundle. A $3,000 funded profit pays $2,910 at 97%, but one $200 month of market data leaves $2,710. On the free plan the same profit pays $1,500.

Give up: monthly billing that auto-renews, a 200-trade minimum that suits active day traders only, and purchases that its terms call generally non-refundable, with possible exceptions only if requested within seven days (terms).

PropShopTrader Equities pays 80% on a defined stock list

PropShopTrader added an equities assessment on its PropX platform: one stage, then a funded account under the same rules (PropShopTrader homepage). List prices on October 11, 2026 were $215 (25K), $429 (50K), $859 (100K) and $1,429 (150K), with the firm’s own banner code PST for 25% off.

PropShopTrader Equities rules, October 11, 2026.
Rule 25K 50K 100K 150K
Fee $215 $429 $859 $1,429
Target (10%) $2,500 $5,000 $10,000 $15,000
Daily drawdown, trailing intraday (2.5%) $625 $1,250 $2,500 $3,750
Max drawdown, trailing (3%) $750 $1,500 $3,000 $4,500

Other rules: a 2.5% daily profit cap during the evaluation (a soft breach), 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% in both phases, a 25% consistency score on funded accounts, no new positions within 3 minutes of a news event, up to 2:1 leverage, and everything closed by 15:55 EST. The split is 80/20, with a 90% upgrade sold as an add-on at 15% of the plan price; payouts start after 14 days and then every 14 days, $100 minimum.

Give up: only 101 approved symbols against Trade The Pool’s 12,000+, a target of 10% inside a 3% trailing drawdown, and no refunds on any service (client terms). Choose it if your watchlist sits inside its list and the 80% share matters more than breadth.

Worked example: on 50K the target is $5,000 inside a $1,500 trailing maximum, so the target is more than three times the room to lose, against twice at Trade The Pool’s Day MAX. A $3,000 funded profit pays $2,400 at 80%.

Maverick Trading is the alternative for real capital on stocks and options

Maverick Trading is not an evaluation firm. You pay to join, complete a qualification program, then trade a sub-account of firm capital at Interactive Brokers as an independent contractor. Its FAQ lists a $199 desk fee and a trading bond before live trading (how Maverick works).

Maverick Trading capital-sharing levels as published, October 11, 2026.
Level Starting capital Performance bond Membership fee Split Monthly fee
Associate $4,000 $1,000 $1,000 60% $199 ($100 credit)
Professional $10,000 $2,000 $4,000 80% $199 ($199 credit)
Partner $20,000 $2,000 $8,000 90% $199 ($199 credit)

What it changes: the capital is real, the company describes itself on Trustpilot as a swing and position trading firm (positions held from a few days to a few months), and profit is paid monthly. Maverick’s own pages quote different split ranges (60% to 90%, 65% to 90%, “typically 70-80%”), so read the written agreement before signing (capital sharing). There is no published daily loss figure; risk limits are agreed before you trade.

Give up: the cheapest path costs about $2,200 before you trade ($199 + $1,000 membership + $1,000 bond), against $47 to $285 for a Trade The Pool account, and the bond is your own money at risk. Choose it if you want to hold stocks or options for days and are ready to pay for training.

Topstep is a futures alternative for US index day traders

Many Trade The Pool traders day trade the indices through stocks and ETFs. Topstep swaps that for exchange futures on a monthly Trading Combine (Topstep pricing help). The 50K is $49 a month on the Standard Path plus a $149 activation fee when you earn an Express Funded Account, or $95 a month on the No Activation Fee Path; 100K is $99 or $149, 150K $199 or $229. Paths cannot be changed after purchase, and reactivating a lost funded account costs $599 at 50K.

Topstep advertises up to 90% of profits (Topstep homepage). Worked example: two months on the 50K Standard Path and one pass cost $49 × 2 + $149 = $247; the No Activation Fee Path costs $190 for the same two months. A $3,000 funded profit pays up to $2,700 at 90%. Give up: stocks themselves, and a one-time fee.

Traders Launch is a one-time-fee futures alternative with daily payouts

Traders Launch sells one-time futures evaluations with no subscription and no activation fee (pricing). On October 11, 2026 the 24-hour plans at an 80% split cost $159 (100K), $299 (200K) and $599 (300K); the same sizes at a 60% split cost $99, $199 and $399, and older New York session plans were cheaper still. The 100K has a $2,000 target and a $1,000 end-of-day drawdown, a 60-day window, a 40% best-day rule in the evaluation and at least 3 trading days (FAQ).

Payouts can be requested daily once the funded account is above +1% and past the first-payout buffer, by ACH or USDT, and wire weekly. Give up: refunds are not offered except for fraud (terms), and the 80% split costs more than the 60% version.

Options-first firms: Vanquish Trader and Imperial Trader Funding

Two newer firms often listed beside Trade The Pool are built around options, which Trade The Pool does not offer. We read their homepages only, so treat this as a first check rather than a full review.

Vanquish Trader (homepage) sells options evaluations from $99 a month for a $10,000 account: 10% target, at least 10 trades, a 30% consistency rule, a 5% intraday trailing loss limit and everything closed by 3:59 pm EST. Only long calls and long puts are allowed; spreads and selling to open are not. It advertises a 100% profit share and daily payouts, and its disclaimer says all trading is on demo accounts with virtual capital. Its own banner advertised code TWO for 50% off options plans on the check date.

Imperial Trader Funding (homepage) advertises stocks, futures and options in one account. Its Elite one-step evaluation listed $194 for $25K, $357 for $50K and $686 for $100K, with end-of-day drawdowns, no daily loss limit, a 33% consistency rule and a fee refund on funding; the simulated funded stage pays 80%. Its banner advertised code SPOOKY25 for 25% off new evaluations.

Trade The Pool alternatives rule by rule

Same-size comparison near $50K, read October 11, 2026.
Rule Trade The Pool Day FLEX 50K The Trading Pit 50K PropShopTrader 50K trader2B Toro100
Fee $285 once $225 once $429 once $199 a month
Target $3,000 (6%) $3,000 (6%) $5,000 (10%) $6,000 on $100K BP
Daily limit $1,000 pause (2%) $1,000 pause, challenge only $1,250 trailing intraday $500
Max loss $2,000 (4%) $2,000 EOD trailing $1,500 trailing $3,000
Activity rule 10 positions; 30 s / $0.10 per trade 3 trading days 3 profitable days at 0.5% 200 round trades

Overnight No (day account) No No No
Split 70% 70% 80% (90% add-on) 97%

Read the table for the rule that hurt you. If the 2% daily pause stopped you, PropShopTrader’s daily limit is a little wider but trails your intraday high. If the 30-second rule stopped you, none of the stock alternatives above lists a 30-second minimum hold on the pages we read, but trader2B requires 200 round trades and PropShopTrader bans trades around news. If the 70% split is the issue, only PropShopTrader and trader2B pay more on stocks.

What each Trade The Pool alternative pays on the same $3,000 profit

Trader share of a $3,000 funded profit, before taxes, from published splits and fees, October 11, 2026.
Firm Split Your share Published deductions Net
Trade The Pool 70% $2,100 Processing fee possible, amount not published $2,100 before any fee
Trade The Pool Edge 80% $2,400 Max $1,500 or $2,000 per withdrawal Paid over two withdrawals
The Trading Pit Stocks 70% $2,100 1% of the profit share $2,079
PropShopTrader Equities 80% $2,400 None published $2,400
trader2B Toro100 97% $2,910 Pro market data $150 to $250 a month About $2,660 to $2,760 after one month
trader2B Free Toro100 50% $1,500 Data cost may apply Up to $1,500
Topstep (futures) Up to 90% Up to $2,700 Per payout policy Up to $2,700
Traders Launch 80% (futures) 80% $2,400 None published $2,400

These are simple arithmetic on the published split, not payout promises. Every firm here can refuse or reduce a payout for rule breaches, and most funded accounts are simulated, so a payout depends on the firm’s review.

Can you make $1,000 a day with a Trade The Pool alternative?

It is possible on paper but rare, and the loss limits decide it. To keep $1,000 a day at a 70% split you need about $1,429 of profit every day. On a $50K Day FLEX that is 2.9% of buying power, more than the $1,000 daily pause you are allowed to lose, and a single day of that size would also run into the 50% best-position rule during the evaluation.

On trader2B’s Toro250 at 99%, $1,000 a day needs about $1,010 of profit, inside a $1,250 daily loss limit on $250,000 of buying power. The arithmetic is easier, but the plan costs $299 a month plus market data after you pass. Treat $1,000 a day as an outlier, not a plan: consistency rules at every firm here are designed to stop one big day from carrying an account.

Real stocks or simulated: what each alternative actually runs

  • Trade The Pool: evaluation on a simulator account with real-time data; trading uses spot stock and ETF prices, not derivatives. Its terms describe evaluation trading as simulated, and funded traders keep the same trading conditions.
  • The Trading Pit: “Simulated market, real-time execution” on the stocks page; no leverage.
  • trader2B: says funded traders may trade live US markets through its partners; its footer calls the challenge simulated with virtual funds.
  • PropShopTrader: assessment and funded accounts run under the operator’s client terms; no refunds.
  • Maverick Trading: real firm capital in a sub-account at Interactive Brokers, with your performance bond at risk.
  • Topstep, Traders Launch, Vanquish and Imperial: simulated evaluation and funded stages under each firm’s terms; Imperial advertises a later live stage.

A Reddit thread in r/Daytrading from 2023 shows why this matters to stock traders: users debated whether Trade The Pool fills were real stock or CFD-style prices and noted slower fills and wider spreads on less liquid names. Trade The Pool’s current program page says trading is spot stock and ETF pricing, not derivatives. Test fills on the free trial before paying.

Reddit and Trustpilot on Trade The Pool and its alternatives

Trustpilot, read October 11, 2026: Trade The Pool scored 4.5 from 894 reviews (386 in the last 12 months), 81% five-star and 8% one-star; the profile is claimed, invites reviews and had replied to 87% of negative reviews (Trustpilot). Common complaints were payout delays, restrictive rules and waiting periods; praise focused on the platform and support.

Trustpilot ratings read October 11, 2026. A rating is not a measure of payout reliability.

Trade The Pool 4.5 894 Invites reviews
trader2B 3.0 77 Only 9 in the last 12 months; consistency-score complaints
Maverick Trading 4.7 98 7 in the last 12 months; fee surprises among negatives
Traders Launch 4.7 80 74 five-star, 3 one-star

Sources: trader2B Trustpilot, Maverick Trustpilot, Traders Launch Trustpilot. Reddit is thin for every stock firm. The most-linked Trade The Pool thread (r/Daytrading, 2023) raised the target being twice the drawdown, the minimum trade count and the 10-cent minimum move, and one user said the rules suit scalpers. Those comments predate the current FLEX/MAX rules, so check them against the program page.
